Livingstone Shire Council and Rockhampton Regional Council boundary review - Survey Results

Voluntary survey

The survey results and participation rates from the voluntary survey of Livingstone Shire Council and Rockhampton Regional Council electors are now available.

In June 2022, people on the electoral roll for the Livingstone Shire Council and Rockhampton Regional Council were offered the opportunity to participate in an elector survey.

Electors were asked:

“Do you support the proposed transfer of three (3) suburbs of Glendale, Glenlee and Rockyview from the Livingstone Shire Council to the Rockhampton Regional Council?”

Electors were able to choose a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ response. Participation was voluntary and the results are non-binding.

The Change Commission will be considering the level of participation in the public consultation process, the results and other supporting information in preparing the final determination report.
