Fraser Coast Regional Council divisional boundary review

The Local Government Change Commission (Change Commission) has completed its review of the divisional boundaries of the Fraser Coast Regional Council to ensure there is a reasonable proportion of voters across all divisions. The final report and maps can be viewed in the table below.

Public consultation

Public consultation was conducted over a two-week period from 9am on Monday 31 July 2023 until 9am on Monday 14 August 2023. The Change Commission released a proposal summary including proposed changes to divisional boundaries, for public feedback. The proposal summary, proposed maps and other data can be viewed in the table below.

A submission was provided by the Fraser Coast Regional Council and was considered by the Change Commission in preparing the proposed boundaries. Read the Council’s submission here.
